Biography
David R. Breuhan is a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan based money manager who specializes in the management of corporate retirement plans and asset management for high net worth individuals.
He received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and was graduated with high distinction from Walsh College being awarded a Master of Science in Finance.
As a commissioned officer in the United States Army, he served in Western Europe, Canada, the United States and the Middle East during seven years of active duty. He commanded B Troop, First Squadron, Third Armored Cavalry Regiment during Operation Desert Storm.
From 1994 to 2007, he taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Economics at Walsh College. He has published in Barron’s, The Detroit News, Crain’s Detroit Business, The Marine Corps Gazette, Infantry Magazine and Defense Science.
He has lectured at West Point and the University of Detroit Mercy. He has briefed Members of Congress, the United States International Trade Commission and selected members of the Council of Economic Advisers. He briefed the Vice President of the United States during Operation Desert Shield. He has appeared on National Public Radio, the Mitch Albom Show and WWJ News Radio.
